High value self care items for moms
Here is a list of high value items that you can use for self care on a weekly basis. Use this list to provide ideas when you schedule your self care time. This list is also a good resource to use when people ask you what is a gift you would want for yourself. Sometimes it is hard to think of items quickly on the spot.

Keeping self care on a regular schedule will allow you to rejuvenate yourself and then be able to perform optimally when you are interacting with your family members.
Make time in order for self care for you to distance yourself from your family and do something for you. An optimal amount of self care time is at least once a month. It will give you something to look forward to. Plan out your self care time and let it be that: YOUR SELF CARE TIME.

This massager is great for where I carry a lot of my stress. In my shoulders. It is great because you are in control of how much pressure and it is not too bulky to store away!

Journaling provides great time for self reflection and memory keeping!

Give yourself a manicure with your favorite color as an easy pick me up!
Tea
Having a hot drink is wonderful for relaxation and enjoyment!
Self care does not have to be expensive and it does not have to require a whole lot of time. You need to take time for yourself. Schedule 30 to 45 minutes for you.
When I ask moms I know and when I reflect on why I don’t take more time to myself, it always stems back to feeling guilty. That mom guilt creeps up again and causes more second guessing of taking time away from the family.
