How to Use Affirmations to Support Your Children
Affirmations defined
Affirmations are positive thoughts and statements that are used to allow you to be uplifted and feel supported. Affirmations allow you to get through negative situations by reflecting on the positive. They can help you go through tough times, as well as your day to day routine with a positive mindset. Your mindset can be easily influenced by what is happening around you. It can also be easily influenced by your thoughts and what you say.
Your brain and affirmations: a perfect pair
Your brain is an amazing organ that can affect everything about you; your outlook on situations, your health, your motivation. You have to get control of how you think and what you think in order to allow you to be able to change your outlook on events. The key to facilitating a brain change is speaking the words of the affirmation out loud. You should also make affirmations in the present tense- happening now.
I am successful!
Affirmations allow you to see your environment in a more positive light. They can lower the amount of stress you feel and decrease your anxiety about a situation. They can improve your quality of life and create feelings of hopefulness.
Using affirmations to support your children
Many times, affirmations are spoken by you for yourself. You encourage your own mindset and set a course for a positive environment. You can also use affirmations to support your children. All the same benefits you receive from affirmations can be received by your children.
